As we begin our 94th Season at Bay Lake Camp, things will be different due to the COVID-19 pandemic! While the island will be open for public hiking as a conservation easement allows, the DNR guidelines restrict the use to hiking only. No picnicking, no campfires, no overnight camping, and no gathering. Please refrain from entering buildings as we are hosting small groups of people all Summer. Thank you.

As you drive through Garrison on Hwy 169 North and you turn onto Hwy 18 West, please call 651-247-0360, the Pontoon Pickup Number. This allows enough time for our pontoon boat driver to pick you up on our mainland site on Brighton Point Rd. just off of Hwy 10. If you forget to call, the Pontoon Pickup Number is located on the white box next to the dock. You can park in the upper or lower parking lot, unload your belongings, and wait for your boat pick up.
What to expect...
The following will be true, when we open for campers again. So, you've arrived on the island! You can carry your luggage to the Red Cedar Lodge where you will likely be staying or you can request a golf cart to take you and your luggage to the Lodge. Our staff will assist you in finding your room as you adjust to your new surroundings. Meals most often happen in the Dining Hall which is the large building on the hill across from the lodge.
